This is one of the many things I missed when living away. It's typically a mom/daughter event, as my mom's company buys tickets every year that we score! My mom's so sweet. She let's me pick the entertainer, and this year I picked this <a href="http://www.johnfogerty.com/">man</a>. He's an oldie but a goodie.Sonyahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06010077735973893975noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-385998228449212200.post-65080734818569203802008-03-05T16:45:00.007-06:002008-03-05T23:01:55.885-06:00Spring Chicks & Knit<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Y3Nzm2n_hFE/R89NOg1rpwI/AAAAAAAAABA/FsRi_tdgPIM/s1600-h/Picture+011.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Y3Nzm2n_hFE/R89NOg1rpwI/AAAAAAAAABA/FsRi_tdgPIM/s320/Picture+011.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5174439408600590082" border="0" /></a><br />The color combination of these two yarns reminds me of spring and easter eggs. I'm using two different <a href="http://www.mamallamaknits.com/">Mama Llama</a> yarns, and I love the mixture. One is Merino/Tencel in colorway <a href="http://www.mamallamaknits.com/photo.html">Berkley</a> and I can't find the label for the other one. Maybe Mama Llama herself can tell me what the other one is.<br /><br />ETA: Mama Llama has informed me the other yarn is Jump.Sonyahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06010077735973893975noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-385998228449212200.post-6077803494422376412008-02-29T00:16:00.001-06:002008-02-29T00:26:09.112-06:00I like to Stir 'em and Shake 'em<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Y3Nzm2n_hFE/R8ejy52xVtI/AAAAAAAAAAU/olOWY0rnaDM/s1600-h/DSC03007.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Y3Nzm2n_hFE/R8ejy52xVtI/AAAAAAAAAAU/olOWY0rnaDM/s320/DSC03007.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5172282791977637586" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Y3Nzm2n_hFE/R8ejzZ2xVuI/AAAAAAAAAAc/Bwrta9B1ij0/s1600-h/DSC03017.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Y3Nzm2n_hFE/R8ejzZ2xVuI/AAAAAAAAAAc/Bwrta9B1ij0/s320/DSC03017.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5172282800567572194" border="0" /></a>Through one of the regular <a href="http://a-friend-to-knit-with.blogspot.com/">blogs</a> I read, I found this <a href="http://life-with.blogspot.com/2008/02/stitch-in-time_19.html">contest</a>. As you can see, I collect Swizzle Sticks and Dice. I have another collection, Pez, that's way too big to photograph. Maybe someday I can manage to get them all out and take a picture. <br /><br />Pictures of my progress on Lady Eleanor to come soon.Sonyahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06010077735973893975noreply@blogger.com0
